The 2026 season of the French Rallycross Championship and French Cup will mark the introduction of a new category: the Rallycross France Challenge by Yacco. Supported by our long-standing partner Yacco, this new class succeeds the French Junior Championship while expanding eligibility to drivers of all ages.
A Single-Make Competition Accessible and Fair
Recognised by the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA), this revamped formula is aimed at drivers wishing to compete in a demanding discipline while keeping costs under control. The single-make format of the Challenge guarantees complete sporting equality between all competitors. Registration is open from the age of 16, with no upper age limit, and offers the opportunity to be crowned overall Winner at the end of the season.
A Format Designed to Ensure Parity
Exclusively reserved for Renault Clio V RX cars, the Challenge will deliver close and competitive racing.
Each round of the Rallycross France Challenge by Yacco will include:
-
an overall classification,
-
a Junior classification integrated into the French Junior Championship,
-
a dedicated Final,
-
a prize-giving ceremony with financial awards for the top three finishers.
Points accumulated at each event will determine the final winner. The competitor scoring the highest total across the season will be crowned 2026 Rallycross France Challenge by Yacco Winner.
A New Momentum for the Category
Through this restructuring, the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA) and AFOR are introducing an affordable formula designed as an ideal stepping stone into Rallycross. The removal of the upper age limit is expected to boost participation and enhance the sporting appeal of the category throughout the championship season.
