Supercar Challenge: Overview

Starting in 2026, the French Rallycross Championship introduces a new trophy: the Supercar Challenge.

Designed as a complementary initiative within the premier category, it brings a new competitive structure to the Supercar class by further organizing the field.

Held under the auspices of the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA), this trophy runs alongside the French Supercar Championship and aims to rebalance performance gaps between entrants within a dedicated sporting framework.

Its format is fully integrated into race weekends. Eligibility is based on criteria related to the driver’s or the car’s track record, ensuring a grid that remains consistent in terms of competitiveness. Each round awards points, includes prize money for the top three finishers, and contributes to an overall season standings. The driver leading the standings at the end of the calendar will be crowned Supercar Challenge 2026 Champion.

Implemented by the Association Française des Organisateurs de Rallycross (AFOR), this initiative is designed to facilitate access to the Supercar category.
